2011-04-19 Transport norrut
Heading north.
Today was a day of transportation, the weather was great so nothing to wait for. All my equipment was packed on a snow mobile sledge and after lunch a 10 hour ride on the snow mobile started. After almost 300 km and just around midnight we arrived to Polheim, approx 20 km south of the northern most point of Spetsbergen. Long ride, I have hardly been on a snow mobile before... So new experience. From tonight it's midnight sun up here.
