2013-04-10 Team Meeting
Yesterday took hard especially on Niaks legs showing a bunch of hairless areas after the sharp ice and snow, luckily no open wounds. Even Ronjas legs have got some scratches but thanks to her thick fur fared better. My ski boots are to share in front of your toes and the skis came loose any plastic detail isskravlet yesterday. It got to be a morning meeting about how we would do, Ronia put her voice and went out to scout bear and enjoy the views in the biting cold little wind. Niak was tired and slept on. I came to the conclusion that the ice did not look like it will be more easy to travel as far as you could see, and to continue to rip as we did yesterday minimal enjoyment and maximum risk of injury and frustration. So Sörneset are we doing well without, every meter closer we get we have to go back the same way because they spickfyllda glaciers here in the south. We turn north and investing instead!
The afternoon turned sleds direction, we took a short step for the tired and sore feet. From this direction appeared traces of a polar bear riding a slide down a steep moraine slope and later clear bear tracks disappearing up over Staupbreen.
As soon as the sun disappears behind the mountain peaks to the west takes over the cold and the inside of the tent dressed in a frozen layer condensation.
